Refund policy

This Return and Refund Policy applies to purchases made through fitgx.shop.

Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with rights and consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law where that law applies.

Nothing in this Return and Refund Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any right, consumer guarantee, warranty, condition, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

If a product has a major problem, Australian Consumer Law may entitle a consumer to reject the product and choose a refund or replacement. Different remedies may apply to minor problems.

This policy therefore operates in addition to, and not instead of, your statutory rights.

2. Change-of-Mind Returns

In addition to any rights available under Australian Consumer Law, fitgx.shop provides a voluntary 30-day change-of-mind return period.

To request a voluntary change-of-mind return, contact us within 30 days after delivery at:

info@fitgx.shop

A change-of-mind return will generally be accepted where:

  • the request is made within the 30-day return period;
  • the product has not been materially used;
  • the product is in substantially the same condition in which it was received;
  • all components and accessories supplied with the product are returned;
  • the product has not been damaged by misuse, neglect, alteration, improper handling, or abnormal use; and
  • reasonable proof of purchase can be provided.

Original packaging is preferred for voluntary change-of-mind returns where reasonably available, but these voluntary conditions do not limit any statutory rights applying to faulty or non-compliant goods.

3. Products Not Eligible for Change-of-Mind Returns

A voluntary change-of-mind return may be refused for:

  • products damaged after delivery through misuse or improper handling;
  • customised or personalised products where clearly disclosed before purchase;
  • products that cannot reasonably be resold for health or hygiene reasons after being unsealed, where this limitation was clearly disclosed before purchase;
  • gift cards or similar stored-value products where applicable; or
  • products clearly identified as final sale before purchase.

These exclusions apply only to voluntary change-of-mind returns.

They do not remove rights available under Australian Consumer Law when a product is faulty, unsafe, materially different from its description, unfit for an applicable purpose, or otherwise fails to meet a statutory consumer guarantee.

4. Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect, or Non-Compliant Products

If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged, incorrect, unsafe, materially different from its description, or otherwise does not comply with an applicable consumer guarantee, contact:

info@fitgx.shop

Please provide:

  • your order number;
  • the name of the affected product;
  • an explanation of the problem; and
  • photographs or other relevant information where reasonably available.

Providing photographs can assist us in investigating the matter, but we will not impose unreasonable evidence requirements where they would interfere with statutory consumer rights.

5. Major Problems

Where Australian Consumer Law applies and a product has a major problem, you may have the right to reject the product and choose between a refund and a replacement, subject to applicable law.

A major problem may include circumstances where a product is substantially unfit for its normal purpose, unsafe, substantially different from its description or sample, or has a problem serious enough that a reasonable consumer would not have purchased it had they known about the problem beforehand.

Your statutory rights will be assessed according to the applicable law and circumstances of the purchase.

6. Minor Problems

Where a product has a problem that is not major and Australian Consumer Law allows the supplier an opportunity to remedy it, fitgx.shop may provide an appropriate remedy such as repair, replacement, or another legally permitted solution.

If the problem cannot be remedied within a reasonable period where required by law, additional rights may become available.

7. Incorrect Products

If fitgx.shop sends a product different from the product you ordered, contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

After verification, we will arrange an appropriate solution, which may include replacement, return, or refund.

Where the error was caused by fitgx.shop, the customer will not be required to bear reasonable return shipping costs associated with correcting the error where applicable law requires us to bear those costs.

8. Products Damaged in Transit

If an order arrives damaged, please contact us promptly at:

info@fitgx.shop

If possible, retain the product, packaging, delivery label, and any visible evidence of shipping damage until the matter has been reviewed.

We may request reasonable photographs to assist with the investigation.

Nothing in this section limits rights under Australian Consumer Law.

9. How to Request a Return

Before sending a voluntary return, contact:

info@info@fitgx.shop

Include your order number and reason for the return.

We will provide the appropriate return instructions.

Products should not be sent to an address obtained from a parcel label or any unrelated address unless that address has been confirmed by fitgx.shop for the particular return.

Unauthorised returns may cause delays in processing.

10. Proof of Purchase

We may request reasonable proof of purchase before processing a return, repair, replacement, or refund.

Proof of purchase may include an order confirmation, transaction record, receipt, account record, or other reasonable evidence demonstrating that the product was purchased from fitgx.shop.

11. Return Shipping for Change-of-Mind Returns

For an approved voluntary change-of-mind return, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless fitgx.shop agrees otherwise.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method because the customer remains responsible for the voluntary return shipment until it is received.

This rule does not apply where Australian Consumer Law requires fitgx.shop to bear reasonable return or collection costs for a faulty or non-compliant product.

12. Return Shipping for Faulty or Incorrect Products

Where a product fails to comply with an applicable consumer guarantee and the law requires fitgx.shop to bear the cost of returning or collecting the product, we will provide an appropriate return arrangement or reimburse reasonable return costs as required.

Customers should contact us before incurring unusually high return shipping expenses so that an appropriate method can be arranged.

13. Inspection of Returned Products

Returned products may be inspected after receipt.

For voluntary change-of-mind returns, we may reasonably assess whether the product satisfies the conditions described in this policy.

We will not use voluntary return conditions to deny a remedy where a statutory consumer guarantee applies.

14. Refund Method

Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Where refunding to the original payment method is technically impossible, we may contact the customer to arrange another lawful refund method.

Once fitgx.shop has issued a refund, the time required for funds to appear in your account may depend on your bank, card issuer, payment provider, or other financial institution.

15. Original Shipping Charges

Because fitgx.shop provides free standard shipping on all orders, customers are not charged a standard outbound shipping fee.

If another delivery charge ever applies and is clearly disclosed before purchase, treatment of that charge will depend on the circumstances of the return and applicable consumer law.

Nothing in this section restricts any right to recover costs or obtain a refund where required by Australian Consumer Law.

16. Exchanges

Where available, customers may request an exchange.

Exchange availability depends on product availability at the time the return is processed.

If the requested replacement is unavailable, we may offer another available remedy, including a refund where appropriate.

Statutory rights remain unaffected.

17. Order Cancellations

If you wish to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at:

info@fitgx.shop

We will attempt to accommodate cancellation requests before the order has been processed or dispatched.

Once fulfilment or shipping has commenced, cancellation may no longer be possible. In that case, the applicable return process may need to be followed after delivery.

This does not limit statutory cancellation or refund rights where applicable.

18. Refused or Unclaimed Deliveries

If an order is refused, abandoned, or not collected for reasons unrelated to a failure by fitgx.shop or the carrier, the order may be treated as a voluntary return once it is successfully returned to us.

Any reasonable costs actually incurred because of a customer-caused failed delivery may be taken into account where permitted by law.

This section does not apply where the delivery failure resulted from our error or where doing so would conflict with Australian Consumer Law.

19. Fraudulent or Abusive Returns

fitgx.shop reserves the right to investigate suspected return fraud, deliberate abuse, false claims, manipulation of payment systems, or repeated conduct designed to obtain products without payment.

This provision does not permit us to deny legitimate consumer rights.
